Sandwich-Making Bee for Shepherds of Good Hope

We were shocked to hear that Shepherds of Good Hope makes and hands out between 600-800 sandwiches every day to the homeless of Ottawa - over and above the meals they serve from their soup kitchen downtown. 

On March 23, 2015, organizers "Bee Keepers" Nancy, Diane and Alia organized a Sandwich-Making Bee and several chapter members volunteered to make sandwiches and bake muffins for the Shepherds of Good Hope.

In two hours, 260 sandwiches were made to compliment the 25 dozen muffins that members had baked earlier. 

Thanks to the offices of OCAPDD for allowing the Sandwich-Making Bee to be held in their board room.
